
Homemade Hummus
INTRODUCTION
It’s a bit of a twist on the traditional recipe but tastes fresh and tasty and at £0.39 per 250g portion, this is an ideal budget snack! Serve with carrot batons, chunky cucumber or sliced pepper for dipping!

½ Tin Chickpeas (around 200g)
2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp Veg Oil
2 Tbsp Natural Yoghurt

Add chickpeas, peanut butter and oil together and blend, recipe will look quite sticky at this point.
Tip: Recipe can be blended in a food processer or mashed up by hand using a fork. A blender will make a smoother recipe but both will taste the same.

Add the yoghurt and blend again until smoother.

Add water if still too sticky to make it smoother.
