Today we celebrate National Fitness Day, a day which celebrates physical activity of all kinds, at every level, for everyone.
In these trying times, when we may be far apart, physical activity still has the opportunity to bring us together, to bring positive change, to brighten our days and offer experiences you may have thought impossible before.
We have seen time and again the improvements physical activity offers mental, physical and social health and now more than ever it is important for us to live active lives.
Today, we at Inspiring healthy lifestyles hope you find the opportunity to take part in some activity, be it in or leisure centres, on one of our wellbeing programmes, using one of our online classes or activities, at one of our outdoor spaces or in your own way elsewhere.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members and participants who have stood by us over recent months. Over the coming months, we hope to be able to expand our offer again, as we open more programmes and classes. In the meantime, I thank you for your support and understanding.
Thank you to our staff for your hard work and resilience as we continue to reopen our services. Your commitment to our mission as a charitable trust has been paramount to our success over the past few months and will be what drives us forward.
We believe in inspiring healthier lives in the communities we work in through creativity and physical activity, we believe everyone has the right to access physical activity in the best way for them and we believe through greater participation in activity, we can live healthier more enriched lives and inspire those around us.
We hope today on National Fitness Day you are able to take the opportunity to be active in the best way for you.
Stay Safe, Stay Active, see you soon,
